Chief Bakare A Straight Forward Muslim Leader - Eletu Odibo
The Eletu-odibo of Lagos High Chief Nosiru Ajibade Ayeni has described Chief Yekini Olawale Bakare as a straight forward Muslim leader who Allah has used to bless Lagos State.
Speaking during an interview in his Idumota Palace, he revealed that Chief Bakare, the Balogun of Ajiranland is a Godfearing personality with outstanding attributes.
He hinted that, he is very straight forward in promoting tradition and also in propagating Islam, pointing out that he has contributed in no small measure to the needs of the people in the state.
He enumerated his contributions towards the development of Isale-Eko, pointing out that he embarked on several infrastructural development, including the renovation of the palace of Eletu-Odibo.
Eletu-Odibo rekindled his determination to project his father land, adding that he will synergies with other chiefs in the community to scale up Isale-Eko and also make relevant recommendations to the monarch on key areas of opportunities.
He emphasized that the development of Lagos state is a collective responsibility of all and sundry as such the people should collaborate with relevant quarters to position the state not only as centre of excellence but also as the destination of choice for foreign investors.
In his message of hope to Nigerians he said Nigeria will be great again while the lost glory will be restored, pointing out that the people should be hopeful and always contribute to the development of their fatherland.
He enjoined youth in the society to maintain peace at all times and eschew all forms of social vices that could deter them on the path of excellence, advising them to emulate some of the proactive qualities of Chief Olawale Bakare.
He rejoiced with Balogun of Ajiran on his 80th birthday anniversary, praying that Allah will continue to support him and give him the impetus to forge ahead in all his endeavours.
He concluded that Alhaji Bakare is a divine personality sent by Allah to impact the people of Eti-Osa and Lagos state in general.
